i checked the snipe and the snipe time shows -127 seconds?... anybody know what happened?...

I have no problems in paying you for the excellent price of software but it now says I am using an illegal version?

I cancelled my snipe when the auction still alive, but when the auction ended, I won! I am very surprised.

And I went back to myibidder.com saw my bid is "NO" instead of the price of the item I won.

Anyone give me a explain on this. I have to either pay for it or lose my credit on ebay.

Just wanted to know with the myibay sniper which is better?

The stand alone application or webbased version?

I mean thinking about it...surely the stand alone application must be as you have to pay for it after 30 days! But I just want feedback from experience of other users to get a rough idea... as im considering buying the stand alone application but im wondering if the web version is reliable enough to just use from time to time.

I set up a bid on item #330608390577. After the auction ended, the only bids i saw listed were the ones I manually did before auction ended. I even checked the bids and did not see any from my account. What do i need to do to fix before next auction starts?

I have now lost two items due to my bids not being placed by the app. It is up to date. On the first day I used it it worked but day 2 I lost an auction that ended at a bid lower than my sniper and the 3rd day same thing. I made sure to save the sniper twice each time.

Hi all I have just installed the standalone version of this program!
i have to admit that I quite like it! as i used to use Auction sentry which even with the new recent update is still unusable and a complete waste ofg money however I do have some concerns with this software as i was reading on a recent post (which version is better) that the server holds the bid information and then bids for us,
Concern
1..Auction sentry Standalone had to be running on your system for the bid to take place, Thus the bid came from your system and not from an unknown server!
According to a recent post MB takes the web and standalone information that you have entered and holds it on their server until the bid needs to be placed,

If I read a recent post correctly! if this is the case then I have some very serious concerns about server security,
as the recent sony myspace wordpress etc hacking fiasco shows!

Nothing is completely safe,

However I wonder just how safe Myb servers are considering that their a prime target for hackers with the amount of ebay users and the information these servers now hold! ie user names and passwords!

I would love to use this program! But am struggling with the concept of another server holding my user name and password information or have I got it all wrong ?

I'm using myibay as a firefox (v3.0.19) addon. I use myibay all the time when bidding on ebay but I just noticed that the group function in myibay doesn't seem to be working.

My understanding when grouping multiple ebay items in one group, is that myibay would bid on the ebay items in the group in order until one of the item wins, then the the rest of the items left still in the group gets deactivated.

Well, today I setup three bluetooth headset ebay auction in my group 1. When I get back home from work and check my email, I notice I've won all three!!! WTF!!! (sorry, please forgive my bad french) I grouped the three auction so I should have won just the one then the remainder should have auto deactivated. But it didn't.

I don't think I did anything wrong grouping the three auction items. Anyone have any idea what could cause the grouping function to not work? so that I don't end comming home from work one day and find I won 20 auction for the same thing.

How do I delete a group?
I did a search, and came up with two results, the first for the web interface, the second for Windows app.

When I click on a group and bring up the contextual menu, their is no delete item and the delete button in the toolbar is grayed out.

I've been developing a software and a part of it is searching on ebay. What I suggest that it'd be nice if your app could accept parameters and be called as a process directly from another software, something like
myibay.exe myEbayId, myEbayPassword, EbayItemId (optional)
I'm petty sure that should be easy to implement and also that would bring you more customers.
What do you think?

I have a little request. I recently won 3 iPads, although I wanted only 2, so i thought it would useful ability to stop bidding after winning some count of auctions.

Login
1. Login using your username and password. If you don't have an account, you need to create one: https://www.myibidder.com/login/signup
2. Link your eBay account to your sniper's account using https://www.myibidder.com/main/ebay

If you know your item number:
1. Open the app and login using your username and password, if not logged in yet.
2. You will get "My Main Menu" screen with several options.
3. Click "Add Item ID", and enter the item number. Then click "Add" to confirm.
4. You will see "My Item" screen.
5. Put your absolute maximum amount to snipe in "Maximum Bid" and click "Activate snipe" to make sure it's "On".
6. Click "Save" to save your changes.

If you have the item added to your Watching List on eBay:
1. Open the app and login using your username and password, if not logged in yet.
2. You will get "My Main Menu" screen with several options.
3. Click "Import Watching List", it will take a few moments to get your Watching List from eBay.
4. You will see a list of your active items in your Watching List.
5. Click the item you want to import into the sniper. If you don't need more items to be imported, then click "Back" on your phone to get into the "My Main Menu".
6. Click "Active Items", you should see your imported items here.
7. Click the item you want to snipe, you will get to "My Item" screen.
8. Put your absolute maximum amount to snipe in "Maximum Bid" and click "Activate snipe" to make sure it's "On".
9. Click "Save" to save your changes.

My snipe didnt place the bid on the item ID 360395409923. But the bids before were ok, everything worked right.

I wonder if I can delete the items from the list that I already won, if it belongs to one of the groups? Will it affect or reset the maximum number of items I want to win?

For example,
I want to win 2 items. Some time later, I won one of them.
If I delete this time from the list, will the system tries to win 2 items again?
