We released an update for Myibidder Android app today. It has mostly bug fixes and some minor enhancements on the work flow for better stability on some older Android phones.

Changes:

a. Some information is not getting updated automatically
b. If your time is out of sync, the ending time may show up slightly offset but it does not affect sniping.

snipe these seems to have been broken again. Currently only one result is shown, incompletely.

Hey i am completly new to this and when setting a snipe its asking about how many seconds. What should i set this at and is there more risk by setting it for 8sec or 3sec? Just an explination would be nice

Hi i have had 2 bids, non start recently, 1 5 mimutes to go another 35 mins to go, neither worked, how come it said snipe active?

I'd like to update the myibay but could not find the disk with the register key. Is any way to find it in software itself?

I've been using the Android Myibidder app for a while now and it has worked great. Except this last time. I cancelled a snipe on my phone about 4 hours before an auction was scheduled to end. However, it did not cancel my snipe and I actually won the auction. I did not want the item but now I own it because the snipe did not cancel. I know that I had a signal because I was at home browsing e-bay on my phone at that same time. Can you tell me why it did not cancel the snipe? This is very disturbing because now I can never be sure that a snipe was cancelled even though I have cancelled it on my phone.

Just sniped and missed the item although my bid was well ablove winning bid, I got this message;

Final price: 365.55
Snipe: 380.00
Status from eBay:
Could not win (10): This listing has ended

i use the free version of myibidder, very good it is too. that said, a suggestion or 3 to make it even better:

a date column, or the date as well as the time left. it would be useful to be able to see the dates that previous snipes ended, rather than just that they have ended.

a notification of having been the highest bidder, but the reserve hasn't been met. i'm looking at a completed snipe that says i've won, but the reserve wasn't met, yet the status is that i won the item.

the ability to snipe based upon whether i've won an auction from a particular seller. sometimes shipping costs are high for what i bid on, so i have to manually edit the snipe (assuming the seller combines postage) after i've won another auction. i'd like to be able to tell myibidder to bid a particular amount for an auction, then plus whatever shipping if i've won another auction from the same seller.

updates more frequently on the main page; i've seen a number of times that my snipe is higher than the current bid as reported on the main page, then when i go to the auction on ebay, the price is higher than what's reported on the main page.

i appreciate the tool as it is and it's free , but would pay for it if the third suggestion in particular could be implemented.

I have imported the watched items list in myibidder on android.

When I logged in on www.myibidder.com and clicked on one of the item, I got the message "This item is not available for purchase on eBay United States."

Will I be able to bid on that item (160673425341) using the Android app?

What happens is someone snipes my snipe? If I come in 6 seconds before bidding ends and then someone has their software set for 3 or 4 seconds and they snipe my snipe will this website snipe again?

I purchased myibay and have been using it for the past few months, love the program. Only problem I seem to be having is that when I change the default snipe time from 6 seconds to 4 seconds it doesn't change the default time. Also, i've noticed that the bidder is about 1 second late. Is there something else I need to do or is this a bug in the settings menu?

My snipe did not place the bid on item ID 160672769645. It already happened on another item some time ago.
The rest of the time it worked fine. What went wrong?

The software was working perfectly previously but now I am missing bids today, they are not even being submitted.

Also, some current bids in myibay do not correspond with the actual bids on the ebay system even after refreshing with the server. Something is not right today...

yesterday and today 2 of my snipes did not place the bid. Item ID 370555119382 and Item ID 260881692832. All my other bids worked fine. What went wrong?

After the daylight savings time change the "Time Left" field is not populating. Tried refreshing several times, logging out and back in. Nothing works. Any suggestions?

Both the app and the computer are at correct time, but the snipe went an hour late. Is your server updated to the correct time ? My app has auto-update for time changes set, and there's no time issue on my end.

Snipeit had been working for me for the last couple of years, however, for the last couple or more months while trying to Snipe on eBay I get "The server is overloaded. Please try again later or contact us if problem persists," when I click the "Logon" button in the popup

I have tried three different versions of Firefox including 8.0 and have tried Google Chrome with no positive results. I've done a tracert to see if my ISP (CenturyLink) was blocking the logon site but cannot detect a problem. Lastly I have changed passwords but that did not help either.

I have missed several bidding attempts because of this and at this point it doesn't seem like I have any options for bidding except to stay awake at night.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having issues with the tools. I can't get them to work with Firefox 8. If I click remove all ended it give me a blank dialog button with okay and cancel but clicking the buttons does nothing and the button is stuck overlying my broswer's window with no way to close it without closing the tab.
I also noticed that certain windows don't work like I tried to send this to support but my Name and email window didn't have a dialog to enter them and clicking the send button gave me the same issue that I have with tools.
